The Heart of Anatolian Archaeology Beats in Erzincan…
The 46th International Symposium on Excavation, Research and Archaeometry, organized through the collaboration of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage and Museums of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Türkiye and Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University (EBYÜ), is continuing at full pace following its official opening ceremony held at the Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Büyükkasap Congress and Culture Center of EBYÜ.
The symposium, which will continue until June 12, features simultaneous sessions and poster presentations in four separate halls. It has brought together a large number of national and international scientists, academics, and archaeology professionals from Türkiye and around the world.
During the symposium, the latest findings and reports from archaeological excavations, restoration and conservation projects, archaeological surveys, and archaeometric studies conducted in Türkiye are being shared with the scientific community and archaeology enthusiasts.
Following the conclusion of the symposium, a field trip around Erzincan will be organized on June 13.
